We live in a world that is governed not only by actions, but by words and ideas that shape our worldview and our perceived truths. Even well before the outbreak of COVID-19, we were struggling with an outbreak of mass disinformation and buried truths.

Now, with the current threat of this global pandemic, that truth has become more important than ever. We proudly commit this social justice guide — which builds on a previous effort led by the Advancement Project National Office and The Opportunity Agenda — to be a beacon of truth that helps uplift and support our impacted communities so that we can all come together to rise above the hate, lies, and bigotry that is being actively promoted by others.
